acmilanfinance.com is dedicated to the business/marketing/financial side of the club. It’s an area that doesn’t get a great deal of coverage, yet is becoming more important given the club’s efforts in reducing wages, turning a profit and generally trying to meet UEFA’s Financial Fair Play.

On this site you’ll find fully translated balance sheets from the club’s official accounts, a list of the squad’s contract details with salary and expiry, transfers back until 2005 (anything before that became difficult to find solid sources on numbers) and numbers on season ticket sales.

The main page will have articles from me on a variety of issues to do with the business side of Milan. I’m a disciple of Swiss Ramble – the king of football finance – so the articles may have a familiar theme.

      The financial statement for 2013 won’t be released until Jun 2014. Milan’s accounts run on a calendar year basis, and 2013 hasn’t finished yet, so they haven’t got a balance to approve as of yet, let alone a completed financial statement to release.

    This is a very useful and informative homepage, I am sorry that I have not found it sooner.

    As an estimation what do you think how will the financial figures (e.g. OM) of AC Milan look regarding the FY 2013? Is it possible to reach operational profit in the last financial year?

    I know that no exact figures are available yet, however I am curious what kind of trend is supposed by you?!

    • Hi Zoltán,

      I’m confident Milan will make an operating profit for the financial year 2013.

      The club received a large amount of money from UEFA for participating in the Champions League – a larger amount than usual because there were only two Italian teams in the competition.

      There were also two home games against Barcelona which generated a lot of revenue and will cause the matchday income to increase a little compared to 2012.

    I am doing presentation about AC Milan as a functioning company. I was wondering whether you know if when the company was listed in the london stock exchange. would it be listed under AC Milan or is it listed under another company (mediaset or finnivest)?

    • Hi Joseph,

      AC Milan SpA aren’t listed on any stock exchange – Berlusconi has always been adamant that he won’t make the football club public.

      Fininvest are not on the London Stock Exchange. They are on the Borsa Italiana (the Italian version of the LSE), but only Mondadori, Mediaset and Mediolanum (of the companies Fininvest controls) are listed. As above, AC Milan SpA are not.
