Berlusconi won’t sell Milan

Some comments from Silvio Berlusconi today on the financial realities of today’s game, and selling Milan:

“There are needs that manifest themselves because football, for those who want to be competitive, needs a lot of money. Now there is a new regulation imposed in Europe for which the clubs must make budgets that commensurate to their income. Therefore the possibility remains to let in some new shareholders or sell the entire share capital, and I find nothing wrong with that. However, regarding Milan, this is not a possibility because for me and my family – always Milanesi – Milan is a matter of the heart and if I had to sell my company, the last to go would be Milan.”
