An interesting, albeit short, comment from Adriano Galliani that went largely unnoticed:

“If he [Pazzini] wants to extend his contract he must also spread his wages.”

Of course, Galliani is referring to Robinho’s recent cut down to €2m from €4m, taken in the process of extending until 2016. Pazzini’s current deal runs until 2015 and is worth €2.7m per season.
